[11] The "balls of fire" phenomenon reported from the Pacific Theater of Operations differed somewhat from the . foo fighters. reported from Europe; the "ball of fire" resembled a large burning sphere which "just hung in the sky", ...
Q. One thing always puzzles me about UFO sightings, nobody ever seems to "engage" them. I was reading about the "Foo Fighters" of WW2 on a web page titled...MIQEL.com...& find the sightings hard to beleive for the following reasons. The combatants on both sides of that war were ALWAYS armed. Any "unidentified" aircraft approaching & "tagging" a bomber formation as was described over europe would immediatly be fired upon, especially at a range of under thirty yards!!! These "reports" seem to lack validity/common sence. The same goes for bigfoot, chupacabra etc., NO one ever opens fire on them. If I ever was confronted with the opportunity to engage one of the above mentioned I'd be shooting first(i'm always armed) & see if it was a threat… [cont.]
