How can I easily find the free political downloads on iTunes?
Q. Last year, before a visit to D.C., I downloaded several old political speeches, such as people speaking at the national conventions for both parties. I searche specifically for them. Does anyone know of a way to find all free downloads? Or all free political downloads? Or something similar?

I'm not sure about finding just political speeches, but there are basically 3 places to find free stuff on the iTunes store: Free on iTunes: usually whatever happens to be the download(s) of the week iTunes U: Content made available for free by Universities, usually lectures and the like. You might look at the Texas A&M Presidential Library Speakers catalogue Podcasts: User-generated content that one can subscribe to so that you automatically get new "episodes". I'm guessing this is most likely where those political speeches came from since someone could have posted them as part of a podcast. A. It's not that it isn't allowed, it's not possible. It doesn't even make sense. You can't download from the internet without using your download allowance. Every byte your provider sends to you is included. (That includes browsing web sites, listening to streaming music - and downloading files.) If you consider downloading it at a friend's house "not using your internet downloads", I suppose that's one way.

How to resume interrupted downloads without an extra program?
Q. Does windows xp have an option or an update.. upgradee or plug in .. that i can download from microsoft and it helps me to resume interrupted download (large downloads) because i remember one time i saw a computer that had this option. and didnt have any installed program. Do you know whats the plug -in or if it existed? the issue is that i dont want to download any program. to my formated computer. just and upgrade or something thank you

A. Well you can't be too scared to start downloading/installing new things! A computer would be pretty boring if all you had were the basic Windows components. Get out there and explore! Anyway, FireFox has this option where you can resume a broken download, so try and use that next time. (But it won't help you in this case since you had to have started the download with FireFox and it be in the download que) Try using Free Download Manager. Add this file to your library and right click and go to "Resume Download" Note: Not all download hosts will allow you to resume a broken download. FDM will tell you if the host allows it or not. But if you do try to restart a broken download and the website host doesn't allow it, it will just… [cont.]
