What historically significant events have witnessed "ufo's, foo fighters, or atmospheric abnormalities"?
Q. I know that when Columbus sailed to America he noted in the ship's log that they saw "strange lights in the sky that appeared to be following them..." Also during significant bombing raids over Europe during WW2 many pilots noticed balls of light or "Foo fighters" following them. What other historically significant events of travel have been followed by or seen these ufo's or lights or balls of light? I am trying to build a database of recorded accounts of these balls of light as connected to historical events and how they correlate to each other. My working hypothesis is this; If you had the ability to travel back into time or have a look at something happening in the distant past...what would you want to see? Maybe a glimpse of Colombus's [cont.]

...UFO sightings,...?
Q. One thing always puzzles me about UFO sightings, nobody ever seems to "engage" them. I was reading about the "Foo Fighters" of WW2 on a web page titled...MIQEL.com...& find the sightings hard to beleive for the following reasons. The combatants on both sides of that war were ALWAYS armed. Any "unidentified" aircraft approaching & "tagging" a bomber formation as was described over europe would immediatly be fired upon, especially at a range of under thirty yards!!! These "reports" seem to lack validity/common sence. The same goes for bigfoot, chupacabra etc., NO one ever opens fire on them. If I ever was confronted with the opportunity to engage one of the above mentioned I'd be shooting first(i'm always armed) & see if it was a threat… [cont.]

Have you ever seen a UFO?
Q. And I really don't mean that in the literal sense of flying saucer from outer space, etc. Just something in the sky that was very weird and in your opinion was probably not a conventional aircraft. I once saw something that behaved much like the foo fighters were said to have behaved during WW2. I don't jump straight to the conclusion that it came from outer space, but it definitely was not an airplane or a helicopter (or a blimp). There was another person with me when I saw it and we both saw the same thing and amde the same conclusion (that it could not have been a conventional aircraft). And no I was not on anything when this happened.

Do you believe in aliens?
Q. There has been thousands and thousands of alien contacts that are well documented and are through out the world. There has been hundreds of pictures taken of UFOs decades before Photoshop was even invented. There's lots of military documentation of UFOs all the way back in WW2 when they were known as Foo Fighters. There is art in Peru that was done thousands of years ago that can only be seen in the sky and even what seems like air craft runways in the same area. There are millions and millions of galaxies across the Universe and the Universe is so big it seems impossible to even measure by any human measurement. There's even talks in the Quantum world of other dimensions in our Universe going on as I type. Crop circles, Roswell,… [cont.]

A. I believe in their existence. I also believe they have had a hand in human history longer than anyone realizes, dating back over 12,000 years. I had a professor in astronomy who used to work for NASA. He told me flat out that they exist and that they've been here for a long time. I wanted to ask him so many more questions, but he was not interested in answering them. There are way too many accounts of UFOs in history too that can't be ignored, such as when a UFO appeared in a battle with Alexander the Great fighting India; where a UFO actually destroyed a siege wall with light allowing Alexander to storm the city and win the battle. What's really fascinating though is that both sides documented the event. I do think they could have… [cont.]
